Welcome to AnimalGiftIdeas.com and thank you for shopping with us. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of AnimalGiftIdeas.com ("the website") and the purchase of any goods from it. The website is owned and operated by Clive Cheetham of AnimalGiftIdeas.com. The mailing address for letters only, not for returned parcels is AnimalGiftIdeas Administration, 49 Maudsley St, Accrington, Lancs, BB5 6AD, United Kingdom. GENERAL Information Provided by You
If you purchase goods and services from AnimalGiftIdeas.com, we may require you to provide your name, address, email address, credit card number or other details ("customer information"). We may subsequently require further details to enable the processing of any orders that you make. You agree to provide AnimalGiftIdeas.com with current, complete and accurate customer information when asked to do so by the website or an employee of AnimalGiftIdeas.com.
The Contract Between Us
We will email you to confirm the details of your offer. This confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your order or reflect the status of your order in any way. We will email you again if your order has been rejected. A binding contract for the sale and purchase of goods and/or services between you and us will only come into effect when your payment is successfully processed and we issue you with an email to the email address provided by you at the time of placing your order which specifically states your order has been accepted. We are not obliged to accept any order you submit.
Product Information
We will always attempt to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing. However, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions or other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free. If a product you order is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the Product in an unused condition in accordance with the provisions detailed below. This does not affect your statutory rights.
How to place an Order
Click on the Browse categories on the Left Hand menu, then the relevant product. If you wish to buy the product, click 'Add to Cart'. If you wish to cancel buying a particular item, then either click onto the Red X at the side of the relevant item, or to empty the shopping cart completely, click 'Empty Cart' and then click onto 'Continue Shopping' to return to the site. When you have selected the products you require, click on to 'Proceed to Checkout' button, where you will be asked to securely complete a few simple contact details, including Shipping option and 'Payment Method' located in the 'Order Details' section. When you arrive at the secure PayPal page you are given the option of either using your own PayPal account, or to pay by Credit/Debit Card. Complete the relevant details and in no time at all, you're done!
Or if you wish to pay by UK bank transfer, please place the Order, click onto 'Bank Transfer' in the 'Payment Method' box, put a brief note in the Special Instruction box at the bottom of the Checkout page about your wish to pay by Bank Transfer, and we will reply by email with the UK bank account details.
Price
AnimalGiftIdeas.com reserves the right at any time to revise its prices without notice. All orders for products are subject to availability and AnimalGiftIdeas.com reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.
Although AnimalGiftIdeas.com tries to ensure that prices on this web site are accurate, errors can sometimes occur. The prices stated are therefore indicative only but an accurate total price, including any delivery charges, will be confirmed to you when we send you confirmation of your order. If the price, when confirmed, is not to your satisfaction your sole remedy is to withdraw your order and return the goods to us, if already delivered to you, in an unused condition.
All prices are inclusive of VAT and in British Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated. All our Credit/Debit Card and PayPal deductions are in British Pounds Sterling, but appear on your statement in your own currency. The conversion from British Pounds Sterling to your own currency is done at the daily rates of your Card Company or PayPal. Payment in full should be made by either your PayPal account, or via Credit or Debit card through this site.
While delivery charges are included for the majority of UK postcodes regardless of weight, please see Restricted UK Postcodes further along in the Terms & Conditions for enhanced clarification relating to parcels sent to those restricted areas weighing more than 2Kgs. In those cases after obtaining a more accurate quote, you may be required to pay extra for delivery. It may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations, or certain countries. We do not deliver to BFPO addresses. There are additional shipping charges for clients in Portugal, Spain, France & Germany; please see Delivery Rates further along in the Terms & Conditions.
Product Availability
If AnimalGiftIdeas.com has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you AnimalGiftIdeas.com will notify you by e-mail at the address given by you at the time of placing your order; we will inform you as to an estimated delivery time of the goods to our UK warehouse. Please note: this will only be an estimate, and AnimalGiftIdeas.com cannot be held responsible if there is a further delay. You will be given the option of waiting till the stock arrives, or if you wish, we will refund the price (including any delivery charges) of the relevant insufficient stock item via the original method of payment. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. AnimalGiftIdeas.com will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointments suffered.
DELIVERY
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense. We will provide you with an estimated date for delivery of all parcels. While we make every effort to deliver by this time but all dates specified are estimates only and we are not responsible for any delays. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform AnimalGiftIdeas.com if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the postal services to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible thereafter.
You agree that when the postal services are satisfied that the order has been delivered, delivery of an order has taken place within the terms of the agreement between you and us.
Without limiting the operation of the Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any costs or losses arising or damage suffered due to late delivery and you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement or entitle you to cancel your order. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Shipping Rates
UK clients
All items posted to UK clients are sent by Royal Mail - Parcel Force if over 1Kg or via Courier if the goods are over 2Kgs.
For the overwhelming majority of UK clients, shipping costs are included into the pricing of the items regardless of weight; however please see more details under the Restricted Postcodes category below.
Due to the higher cost of delivering to remote, rural or offshore addresses, most carriers impose surcharges for these areas, and we in turn have to pass on this cost to be fair to other customers. The following postcode areas are subject to surcharge for packages weighing more than 2Kgs: - (packages less than 2Kgs, delivery costs already included).

You will notice on the website in the browsing headers page, that an approximate weight of each item including packaging is given, to assist you in determining how heavy your parcel is going to be. If you live at one of the Post Codes mentioned above, and the weight of the parcel is going to be more than 2Kgs, please email support@animalagiftideas.com before finalizing the order so we can supply a more accurate quote.
How long will it take?
Whilst we anticipate an order usually being despatched from our warehouse within 48 hours of receipt of payment and agreement of order, for UK mainland clients please allow between 5-7 working days to receive delivery. In the Restricted Postcodes mentioned above, please allow a little longer for your delivery.
Shipping only to some EU countries: We will verify order via email if we accept the order - if not we will issue a full refund.
For clients in these countries items are sent by Airmail; if the order is over 2Kgs, then a Courier is used. For these clients, additional shipping charges are based on weight. The rates are as follows:
Total package weight between 0.0 Kgs to 0.4 Kgs = £3.00 extra.
Total package weight between 0.4 Kgs to 0.9 Kgs = £4.70 extra.
Total package weight between 0.9 Kgs to 1.0 Kgs = £5.20 extra.
Total package weight between 1.0 Kgs to 1.5 Kgs = £6.20 extra.
Total package weight between 1.5 Kgs to 2.0 Kgs = £7.20 extra.
Total package weight above 2.0 Kgs: There is a default to delivery costs of £100.00 so that we can obtain a more accurate quote, and then email you the correct amount. Under such circumstances, please email support@animalgiftideas.com first before proceeding with the order.
How long will it take?
For clients in the countries above, after payment has been received and the order agreed, please allow anything up to 20 working days for delivery, especially at peak holiday times in August, and December. Sometimes there may be delays due to public holidays etc. but apart from that, you will be notified if there is going to be any further delay with your order due to stock problems.
If you live in countries outside of the EU, could you please email support@animalgiftideas.com so we can assess whether it is feasable to ship to your location, and the costs involved.
Lost & Missing Deliveries
In spite of all our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays in delivery. If your order appears to be late it may be worthwhile contacting your local postal sorting office as it is possible that they have already tried to deliver your package but were unable to do so. If you do not receive your good(s) after 30 days please send us an email to support@AnimalGiftIdeas.com and we will make further enquiries with the carrier and arrange delivery of replacement goods or refund the price (including any delivery charges) via the original method of payment.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS:
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item at any time prior to delivery or within 7 working days of receipt of your order. This applies to all our products. To cancel your order, please notify us by e-mail, stating the reason for the return as 'Contract cancellation'. Please note that you have a duty to take reasonable care of the goods until you return them to us.
If you have already received your goods please package the relevant item securely in its original packaging and return it with the delivery note. Please email support@AnimalGiftIdeas.com and we will send you an email detailing the process and the correct return postal address. For your protection, we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
When we receive notice of your cancellation of your order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item within 30 days.
EXCHANGES POLICY
At AnimalGiftIdeas.com, we want you to be happy every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to exchange items. Any goods you wish to exchange must be unused, in the original condition and capable of resale; we may make a suitable charge to cover our costs.
To exchange an item:
To exchange an item, please return the goods in their original condition, and with their original packaging enclosing a note detailing the original order number and the items you now wish to purchase. Wrap the package securely. Please email us for full instructions and for the relevant return address within 7 working days of receipt of the item concerned. For your protection we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service. This exchange policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery charges and other services:
If you are exchanging an item, you are responsible for meeting the cost of sending the new items out to you. Please email us at support@AnimalGiftIdeas.com to get a quote for these extra postage costs. You will then need to provide advance payment for these costs. If paying by Credit Card we will advise you how to go about this when you contact us.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS:
You can return items to us if they are defective but you must notify us via email within 7 days of delivery of the problem with the goods in question. Please use and secure the original packaging unless the packaging is damaged. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been used if they are defective.
In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, delivery, via the original method of payment. Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will despatch your replacement item (subject to availability), at our cost. Please note: If we find that the goods are not damaged or faulty we will return the ordered goods to you and you will be responsible for all return delivery costs.
Delivery charges and other services:
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.
To return a defective item:
To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, and wrap the package securely in the original packaging. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault, order number, and email us at support@AnimalGiftIdeas.com with 'Defect' in the subject line. We will then advise you of where to return the item. For your protection we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
If the goods you receive are not what you ordered, or are defective or damaged in some way, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, AnimalGiftIdeas.com shall have no liability to you unless you email support@animalgiftideas.com about the problem within 7 working days of the delivery of goods in question.
If you do not receive the goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which an order from you was paid for and accepted, AnimalGiftIdeas.com shall have no liability to you unless you email support@animalgiftideas.com about the problem within 30 days of the date of your order.
Should you require to notify AnimalGiftIdeas.com of a problem under this condition our only obligation will be at our option to:-
1. Make good any shortage or non-delivery; 2. Replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or 3. Refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question, including delivery charges.
AnimalGiftIdeas.com will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem notified to AnimalGiftIdeas.com under this condition and AnimalGiftIdeas.com shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
We will be entitled to set off any and all sums due by you to us against any and all sums due by us to you.

The services, materials and information contained on the website are provided by AnimalGiftIdeas.com “as is”. To the best of knowledge of AnimalGiftIdeas.com, the information is accurate and current. However, AnimalGiftIdeas.com do not make any representation or warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AnimalGiftIdeas.com disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied to the extent permitted by law, including but not limited to implied warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose with respect to this service, the products or any content or materials.
Release and Indemnity
You agree to waive any and all claims that you now have or may have in the future against AnimalGiftIdeas.com which relate to or are incidental to any transaction.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in England and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and any courts, which may hear appeals from those courts.
Virus Warning
All care is taken to ensure that AnimalGiftIdeas.com and its data transmissions are free from viruses. However, it is your responsibility to scan any such data for viruses.
